Learning Technologies 2025 hosted in London on 23-24th April is the most exciting and compelling part of our event calendar every year. And, we’re even more excited this year as we are celebrating 20 years of Kineo!
Learning Technologies is the world’s leading conference dedicated to technology-supported learning in the workplace. This means the conference venue will be jam-packed with passionate professionals, speakers and organisations ready to take the next step forward with improving their learners’ learning experiences.
Our kind of people!
We love being part of the event every year, being immersed with like-minded individuals, and learning more from our customers and peers. Every year, it continues to be at the forefront of showcasing trends, innovations and ‘what’s new and cool’ in learning technology.
The event has a free exhibition space (where we’ll be at stand E30, next to Theatre 2 in the middle of the exhibition hall). Plus, there’s the main conference which includes many talks and sessions about the latest innovations and emerging practices to help L&D professionals build even more effective learning strategies.

How can you get the most out of the 2 days?
It can be easy to be overwhelmed by all the exciting things happening at an event like this and hard to know how to make the most out of the very full 48 hours.
With this in mind, we’ve rounded up our 7 top tips for making the most out of Learning Technologies 2025. Whether the event has been inked into your calendar for many years or it’s the first time you’re attending, we’re here to show you how to leave feeling both inspired and fulfilled.
1. Be prepared and plan your day
We recommend that you think carefully about what your priorities are for the 2 days and who you want to see and speak to. Registration opens at 8am (nice and early!) and the opening address is at 9:15am, so there’s plenty of time to grab your pass and that all-important first coffee of the day!
Once you’re settled and you’ve got your bearings you’ll want to know what to do next. With 9,000 attendees and 200 exhibitors, you’ll want to plan your days carefully. A great idea is to have a goal in mind – what does success look like for you? For example, do you want to increase your knowledge in a particular area? Look for talks to match those themes and maybe set a goal to attend 5 talks in relation to that subject. Are you keen to network? Maybe set a goal to arrange 5 follow-up calls for the weeks following the event, or make 5 new connections each day.
2. Get familiar with the floor plan
This might sound like an obvious tip, but it’s important to know where you need to be at specific times. We’ve all been there when we’re immersed in a chat with someone new and interesting and we suddenly realise the time and have to run to a talk whilst checking the map. Understand the floor plan – rushing to a talk is no fun! Plan that coffee catch-up next to your next talk so you can get to the front row and be ready to take it all in.
3. Remember technology is your friend!
If you’re anything like us, you sometimes forget about relying on technology when you’re surrounded by new people and exciting new things to look at. Make sure you download the Learning Technologies mobile app! In the app, you can explore the programme, bookmark your favourite sessions, explore the exhibitor list and see the floor plan. It’ll make your whole conference experience so much smoother and easier!

4. Have breaks too
We get it, there will be loads of interesting things to see and hear and you’ll bump into contacts you haven’t seen for ages or you’ve only met on Zoom. However, it’s important to refuel and recharge when you need to – this will ensure you concentrate on those all-important expert sessions and that you enjoy the day as much as you can. Grab some fresh air, or some coffee and cake when you can. It’ll do wonders!
5. Dress comfortably
Not wanting to sound like a parent here…but we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothes you feel comfortable and good in. Try not to bring too much to carry around with you and keep yourself light in case you want to grab any freebies or literature. Carry refreshments if you can – water is your friend!
6. Be ready to be inspired
We have been to many Learning Technologies events and every time we leave with a bundle of notes, new ideas and new perspectives. How do you prefer to take notes? Bring your iPad or your traditional notepad and be ready to jot down notes from the sessions and the conversations you’ve had. We recommend writing down 3 new ideas and 3 key learnings from every session or conversation you have. This will keep you focused and stop overwhelm or ‘note fatigue’ when you look back on what you’ve recorded from the 2 days.
7. Don’t forget to come and chat to us!
If you’re feeling like you need some time out or just a friendly chat then we are here to support and help.
Come visit us at our stand in the exhibition space (stand E30, next to Theatre 2 in the middle of the exhibition hall). This year we are celebrating 20 years of Kineo, so we’re full of positivity and good vibes!

What will be on your agenda? We recommend the following…
Firstly, don’t miss our great session!
Our amazing colleagues Matt Mella and Rory Lawson are hosting a seminar on Wednesday 23rd April from 12.30-1.00 (in Theatre 2), titled ‘Impactful learning experiences through data and personalisation’. We really hope to see you there (and it’s opposite the Kineo stand – so come and say hello after!)
Impactful learning experiences through data and personalisation
Wednesday 23rd April at 12.30-1.00 (in Theatre 2)
Personalisation often refers to very set options that are sometimes quite rigid and limited in actual scope. Can we make learning content truly personal and unique? And can we deliver greater value for the business? Kineo share their insight, experience and recent case studies.

We also recommend the following…
