Mindtools Kineo shortlisted in five categories at the Learning Technologies Awards 2026, recognising work that is helping organizations build critical skills, strengthen workforce capability, and deliver measurable impact.
From improving management capability at Diageo to preventing financial crime with HSBC, this shortlist showcases what can happen when deep insight and learning expertise come together. It also includes projects that are transforming the lives of children with Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) and creating more inclusive compliance experiences with Channel 4. The fifth nomination recognises Mindtools Kineo Learning Experience Manager Martin Sinclair for his individual contribution to the field.
Diageo: measurable impact at scale
Best Use of Blended Learning – Commercial Sector
Working with Diageo, Mindtools Kineo created the IMPACT People Manager Programme for 800 managers in Diageo’s Supply function – where operational demands make traditional face-to-face learning challenging.
Rather than simply converting existing content into digital learning, the programme was designed from the ground up around the realities of working in Supply. The fully blended experience has delivered a 13% uplift in inclusive leadership and a 12% uplift in wellbeing and is now being scaled across Diageo.
Cerebral Palsy Alliance: taking world-leading expertise global
Best Learning Technologies Project – Public and Non-Profit Sector
CPAdvance, created with Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA), translates 20 years of world-leading research into interactive, accredited professional development for health clinicians worldwide.
The programme makes globally recognised credentials in early cerebral palsy intervention accessible to practitioners wherever they are – helping turn research and expertise into practical capability that can improve early intervention.
Channel 4: making ethics and integrity engaging
Excellence in Accessible and Inclusive Digital Learning
With Channel 4, Mindtools Kineo created 8 out of 10 tw*ts, an interactive, self-paced code of conduct experience that puts decision-making, ethics, and integrity into practice.
The experience uses realistic scenarios and interaction to move beyond traditional compliance training and create a more engaging, inclusive way for employees to explore how they respond to challenging situations.
HSBC: transforming financial crime capability
Best Digital Learning Transformation
Working with HSBC’s Risk Academy, Mindtools Kineo transformed financial crime learning following a detailed analysis of the organization’s needs. The result is a holistic, personalised, and simulation-based learning journey that moves beyond generic subject refreshers and post-course assessment.
Data and benchmarking are built into the experience, enabling more targeted interactions and delivering more relevant skills development across the workforce.
Learning Designer of the Year – Martin Sinclair
Mindtools Kineo Learning Experience Manager Martin Sinclair has been shortlisted for Learning Designer of the Year, recognising his contribution to creating effective, engaging and learner-centred digital experiences.
Building capability together
Ross Garner, Chief Learning Officer at Mindtools Kineo, said:
‘Five shortlistings is a fantastic achievement. But what makes it particularly meaningful is that every one reflects a genuine partnership with a client. Our role is not simply to create learning; it’s to understand the challenge, bring our expertise to the table and work as partners to our clients so that, together, we build capability that delivers a real-world difference. From measurable improvements in management capability at Diageo to transforming financial crime learning at HSBC, these projects show the power of that approach. We’re hugely proud of what our teams and clients have achieved together, and of Martin’s individual recognition.’
The winners will be announced at the Learning Technologies Awards gala ceremony in London on 11 November.
Mindtools Kineo wishes all its clients shortlisted for this year’s awards the very best of luck, and looks forward to celebrating with them on the night.
